Choosing who builds or improves your home is an important decision. At HLG we have achieved the status of Master Builder.
This goes beyond "checked" or "rated" and demonstrates that as a company we have been professionally vetted by the Federation of Master Builders (FMB), the UK's largest trade organisation in the building industry.
In March 2023 at the Southern Counties Master Builder Awards ceremony HLG was announced as winners in the Medium Renovation Project category. The judges hailed our project as, "An excellent collaboration between the architect, client and builder to produce an outstanding project. Hats off to their exceptional work!"

Why choose a Master Builder?
Choosing a builder is an act of trust.
The Federation of Master Builders (FMB) is the largest trade association in the UK construction industry, representing the interests of small to medium-sized building companies. The FMB has been successfully bringing clients and builders together since 1941.
Unlike other organisations, the FMB’s badge of quality must be earned. At HLG we passed a strict vetting process and inspection of our work. This range of checks included vetting our trading history, credit history, directors and our public liability cover.
FMB's inspection process involved an independent assessment of our building work which is completed by the BBA or RISA. At HLG we are proud of our projects and we can provide examples of work as well as testimonials from previous clients.

NICEIC
The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) was established in 1965 and the UK largest voluntary register of electrical businesses. They assess businesses to ensure that the installation work they undertake meets the standards expected to keep us all safe.
Every year NICEIC assess HLG and check compliance and conformity against strict standards and regulations via testing, verification and assessment of our work.
They also verify that the correct equipment is used and correctly calibrated to make sure that work is measured and recorded accurately.
